About This Role

We approach infrastructure and operations as software engineering problems.

Our mission is to build and progress software platforms that enable provisioning and managing of all services in safe, reliable, and scalable ways.

We challenge the status quo, using new technologies to build platforms and tooling for engineering teams.

You will be part of a team responsible for designing and architecting new solutions, finding creative ways to optimize existing solutions, and improving agility for managing hundreds of microservices infrastructures in a stable and reliable way.

This role requires a strong believer in automating Dev Ops and SRE aspects like infrastructure provisioning, deployment, observability, incident lifecycle, uptime SLA, etc.

  • Bold to challenge, open to getting challenged, curious to learn and grow.
  • Possessing skills in working with Kubernetes clusters hosted in AWS.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure As Code tooling like Terraform and Ansible to manage AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes resources.
  • Engaging with development teams throughout the life cycle to help develop software for reliability and scale.
  • Catching up with colleagues from the development team to understand their needs and improve the overall experience.
  • Coaching team's SRE best practices.
  • Troubleshooting priority incidents, facilitating blameless post-mortems, and ensuring permanent closure of incidents.
  • Performing analytics on previous incidents and usage patterns to better predict issues and take proactive actions.
  • Building and driving adoption for greater self-healing and resiliency patterns.
  • Designing automated software and product upgrades, change management, and release management solutions.
  • Designing, coding, testing, and delivering software to automate manual operational work.
  • Owning tools and services end-to-end.
  • Performance and cost optimization for infrastructure.
  • Participating in an on-call rotation for the team's tooling and 24x7 support coverage as needed.
  • Succeeding, failing, and learning together with other talented people.
