Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Full Stack Engineer to join our fast-growing technology business. As a key member of our development team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform and driving its growth into new markets.

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of distributed systems, microservice architecture, and API design. With expertise in creating secure, scalable RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints, they will be able to architect, develop, and optimize scalable and secure backend systems using Node.js, TypeScript, and distributed microservice architectures.

Requirements:

  • Full Stack Development:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in building scalable, distributed backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Proficiency in developing user interfaces using React, Next.js, and modern frontend frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservice architecture, and API design.
  • Expertise in creating secure, scalable RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints.
  • Experience building responsive and intuitive UIs using React, Next.js, Redux, and TypeScript.
  • Database Design: Proficiency in designing and optimising databases, particularly with MySQL, for high-performance applications.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with Azure or similar cloud platforms for hosting, scaling, and monitoring applications.
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps and containerisation with Docker.
  • Secure Development: A deep understanding of secure coding practices, authentication mechanisms, and API gateways.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to break down complex problems into atomic units of work.
