Software Engineer Position

  • We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to build REST APIs from OpenAPI specs and write SQS workers.
Responsibilities
  • Build efficient queries, cursor pagination, and Rediscaching for hot reads in Postgres schemas/migrations.
  • Implement secure webhooks and third-party API integrations using Node/TypeScript backends with Postgres and a queue (SQS/Rabbit/etc.).
  • Design and evolve APIs with strong grasp of idempotency, retries/backoff, cursor pagination, error design, and API performance.
  • Collaborate tightly with the Platform/Infra engineer to keep security, performance, and cost in check.
Requirements
  • 5+ years building Node/TypeScript backends with Postgres and a queue (SQS/Rabbit/etc.).
  • Proven experience with secure webhooks signature/HMAC verification and third-party API integrations.
  • Strong grasp of backend development concepts, including idempotency, retries/backoff, cursor pagination, error design, and API performance.
  • Comfortable with Docker, GitHub Actions, and observability basics (logs/metrics/traces).
