Cloud Security Expert Wanted

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud computing and security technologies, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) in Azure and AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement all aspects of cloud security, including Identity and Access Management, organizational structure and policies, technologies to provide data protection, network security defenses, security logs, and incident response processes.
  • Hands-on experience with implementing security concepts such as CNAPP, CWPP, CSPM, Zero Trust Network, CASB, Cloud computing, SIEM, SOAR, PKI, DevSecOps, security copilot, IAM, and PAM.
  • Experience with other Cloud Platforms like Google Cloud or Oracle cloud is beneficial.
  • Designing security services in cloud-based programs based on pre-defined architecture frameworks.
  • Define security controls and policies, access to data, and monitor alerts to ensure that data, apps, containers, infrastructure, and networks are protected.
  • Design access configurations within a cloud solution environment using the defense-in-depth principle.
  • Design network security including in a hybrid context with traditional network centric controls.
  • Implement and support cloud native tools like Azure Monitor, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender suite, Azure Sentinel, AWS GuardDuty, Security Hub or leading solutions such as CrowdStrike Falcon, Wiz, SentinelOne, or Orca Security.
  • Experienced in evaluating architecture through Azure and AWS well-architected security framework.
  • Conduct regular customer meetings to provide status updates, track progress, address issues, and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Maintain and improve the security posture of the Azure and AWS platforms during Business As Usual (BAU).
  • Oversee the process of identifying and remediating security alerts and vulnerabilities.

  • Passion for Cyber and cloud Security.
  • Required soft-skills set to successfully understand, challenge, and translate business needs and communicate to relevant parties with a structured and methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Team player with good communication skills, proactive, and highly motivated individual with a serious hands-on work ethic and customer-centricity.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, Azure/AWS/ISC2 Security Certifications.
