Job Overview: The successful candidate will have a strong background in establishing, stabilizing, and optimizing manufacturing processes. This individual will drive efficiency, quality, and innovation in production shopfloor.
Industry Focus: Automotive/EV (including Battery Pack Assembly) ; Gigafactory (Cell Manufacturing)
Required Experience: 7-13 years
- Conduct MES capability assessments & formulate functional architecture & requirements.
- Evaluate MES platforms based on strategic, financial, and functional fitment pillars
- Knowledge of MES tools like Siemens, NEXEED, PTC or Dassault is beneficial.
- Identify areas for improvement, develop digital use cases, and enhance production efficiency, quality and reduce cost.
- Consult clients on automation, IoT, and data analytics in the manufacturing space.
- Knowledge of IoT platforms like Insights Hub, Azure, AWS etc is beneficial.
- Utilize data analytics to extract insights from production data, make informed decisions, and manage performance indicators.
Key Skills:
- Experience creating and leading client proposals that highlight unique capabilities and industry perspectives.
- A thought leader to demonstrate deep industry knowledge and innovation in manufacturing via key viewpoints and assets.
- Strong business development appetite while scanning market movements and creating opportunities for growth.
- Strong project management abilities with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in production management, business management, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
- MBA from tier-1 institutes is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Proven experience with Battery or EV OEM or consulting industry in Smart Plant vertical.
