Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Search Engineer to design, develop, and optimize search solutions that deliver exceptional user experiences.

The ideal candidate will combine strong software engineering skills with deep knowledge of information retrieval systems and have experience with modern search technologies (Elasticsearch, Solr) and programming languages (Java, Python, Scala).

Key responsibilities include designing and implementing advanced search functionality, developing high-quality scalable search applications focusing on relevancy, performance, and user experience, creating and optimizing search algorithms, ranking models, and retrieval methods, building Knowledge Graphs from various corporate data sources, and more.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze complex search problems, and implement cutting-edge search technologies to drive innovation and growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software development
  • 3+ years of experience developing search solutions
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, Scala)
  • Hands-on experience with search engines (Elasticsearch, Solr)
  • Strong understanding of information retrieval concepts (TF-IDF, BM25, vector search)
