Job Title: Academic Advisor

Role Summary:

This Academic Advisor will be the primary point of contact for prospective learners and their families.

The ideal candidate will guide them through upskilling programs in digital marketing, design, content strategy, and paid media.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct personalized counselling sessions for prospective learners (and parents), detailing available upskill courses, certification paths, eligibility, curriculum benefits, tools taught, and expected career outcomes.
  • Address queries regarding course tools and software, entry-level requirements, and program pathways.

Candidate Counselling:

  • Provide consultative, student-first counselling paired with soft closing techniques to meet enrolment targets.

Lead Management & Conversion:

  • Nurture inbound leads via phone, email, messaging apps, and in-person consultations.

Enrolment Goal Fulfilment:

  • Meet monthly and quarterly enrolment targets while maintaining high standards of transparent and ethical counselling.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Liaise with the marketing and program teams to align on messaging, domain-specific course content, and recruitment strategies.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Malayalam.
  • Empathetic, persuasive, and student-oriented counselling approach with strong interpersonal sensitivity.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in academic counselling, admissions, telesales, or customer-facing roles.
