Lead Technical Visionary

The Platform Product Group seeks a seasoned technical leader to oversee the development and maintenance of our platform's critical components.

This role demands a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for crafting high-quality software. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, building, and scaling production applications, as well as upskilling junior engineers through processes and setting high standards for them to follow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a team of highly competent engineers in developing and maintaining the platform's core systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to help them grow and develop their skills.
  • Collaborate with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Manage individual projects, priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with technical expertise.
  • Advocate state-of-the-art practices on building high-performance distributed training jobs that process large volumes of data.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • At least 2+ years of technical leadership experience.
  • Experience in designing, building, and scaling production applications.
  • Strong technical background in areas such as AI/LLM models, Golang, Docker, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bias toward open, transparent cultural practices.
