Job Role:

Draft, review and negotiate various commercial agreements including Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs) and contract renewals. Provide strategic legal advice on regulatory compliance to internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and draft internal company policies, employee handbooks and compliance protocols in line with current laws and best practices.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on corporate, commercial and technology law issues. Prepare internal legal memoranda and risk assessments.
  • Respond to queries or notices from statutory and regulatory authorities. Draft legal notices and assist in the preparation of financial reports.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Strong understanding of Indian Contract Act, Companies Act and data protection laws.
  • Excellent communication, drafting and negotiation skills. Proactive attitude with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Attention to detail, organisational ability and sense of ownership. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of venture capital transactions and startup ecosystem legalities.
