Job Title: Data Engineering Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of talented professionals in designing and implementing data pipelines and workflows using Snowflake and Matillion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define data models, and develop solutions that meet business needs.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Snowflake data warehouse for analysis and reporting purposes.

Maintenance of pipeline performance, troubleshooting of issues, and implementation of enhancements to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and efficiency are also essential duties of the role.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering, Snowflake, and Matillion to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

The following skills and qualifications are required:

  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and schema design.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Optimization and tuning of data pipelines for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Development of ETL processes to transform and cleanse data as per business requirements.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting of data pipelines to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Collaboration with Data Analysts and Data Scientists to provide them with clean and reliable datasets.
  • Documentation of data pipelines, processes, and workflows for knowledge sharing and future reference.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and cloud technologies.
