Job Title:

Pipeline System Design Expert

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced pipeline system design expert to lead the conversion of older process graphic environments and operator interfaces to newer applications. This includes understanding existing functionalities, reverse-engineering, designing equivalents in newer operator interfaces, configuring process graphics in HMI applications, and testing functionality.

About the Role:
  • Understand functional requirements for developing intuitive operator interfaces
  • Design process graphics and graphical elements in HMI to cater to functional requirements
  • Development of Functional design specifications and test procedures
  • Reverse engineering to analyze older functionalities and implementing those in newer applications using equivalent features
  • Development of process graphics based on P IDs and reference from older systems
  • Detailed functional testing of every graphical element and overall graphical interface
  • Understand behavior of basic process control functions to validate functionality
  • Participate in conducting demos and Functional Acceptance Tests (FAT) with customers
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of technical expertise in HMI design, configuration, and testing of Distributed Control Systems
  • Able to read P ID S and decode functionality to implement in Distributed Control Systems
  • Knowledge and experience in Oil and Gas, Refining, Petrochemical, and Chemical industries
  • Knowledge of Visual Basic
  • Basic understanding of TypeScript preferred

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
