Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a detail-oriented software quality assurance specialist to join our development team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by designing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating closely with developers and product managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning & Strategy: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for new features and existing functionalities.
  • Manual & Automated Testing: Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, both manually and using automated tools (web and mobile applications).
  • Defect Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects from discovery through resolution using a defect-tracking system.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of test cases, test results, and test artifacts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or a related field.
  • Proven experience in both manual and automated testing.

Technical Expertise:

  • Experience with test management and defect-tracking tools.
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
  • A strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) for test automation.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A strong attention to detail and methodical approach to work.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
