About the Role
E-commerce services are a key part of our business, and we're looking for an experienced data engineering manager to lead our team. As a Senior Data Engineering Manager for E-Commerce Systems, you'll be responsible for leading a team of data engineers and business intelligence engineers to build and maintain critical systems that enable our entire retail business.

Key Responsibilities
- Hire, manage, and coach a team of data engineers, business intelligence engineers, and business analysts.
- Engage with leadership and customer groups to understand needs and recommend business intelligence solutions.
- Drive design, development, and implementation of analytics to provide stakeholders with structured access to data.
- Champion proper adoption of self-service analytic tools and reporting environments.
- Own design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards that monitor and drive key business decisions.

About You
You'll need 5+ years of data engineering experience, including experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines, as well as SQL and managing a data or BI team. Experience leading and influencing the data or BI strategy of your team or organization is also essential. A bachelor's degree is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR, and AWS Tools and Technologies (Redshift, S3, EC2).
