Job Title: Highly Skilled Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in various domains and technologies, with a strong focus on Telecom BSS/OSS, and proficiency in writing clean, bug-free code.

About the Role

The successful candidate will collaborate closely within and across teams to ensure the seamless functioning of one or more critical backend modules with exposed interfaces. They will demonstrate a strong working knowledge of distributed systems and microservices, as well as proficiency in concepts related to message buses, multi-threading, and thread synchronization.

The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience with middleware technologies, including Node.js, and exposure to software development within the telecom domain. Experience with High Availability, Resiliency, and Geographic Redundancy is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely within and across teams to ensure the seamless functioning of one or more critical backend modules with exposed interfaces.
  • Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of distributed systems and microservices.
  • Proficiency in concepts related to message buses, multi-threading, and thread synchronization.
  • Write clean, bug-free code in Python and Django, and be willing to acquire new languages on the job.
  • Develop and implement automation tests, including unit tests and integration tests for regression testing.
  • Work with GitLab or Jenkins for version control and continuous integration.
Must-Have Skills
  • Programming Languages: Python
  • Web Framework: Django, OpenAPI/Swagger
  • Database: PostgreSQL, MySQL
  • Public Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Hands-on experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
  • Strong understanding of message buses, multi-threading, and thread synchronization.
  • Experience in developing automation tests, including unit tests and integration tests.
Additional Skills (Desirable)
  • Hands-on experience with middleware technologies, including Node.js.
  • Exposure to software development within the telecom domain.
  • Understanding of touchpoints related to MVNO, MVNA, and MNO integrations.
  • Experience with High Availability, Resiliency, and Geographic Redundancy.
