Mathematics Teacher Role

The primary objective of a subject teacher is to facilitate student progress in specific subject areas. Teachers design and deliver lessons, assess student understanding, and provide feedback.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lesson Planning and Delivery: Ensure that lesson plans are followed, and necessary resources are utilized effectively.
  2. Classroom Management: Maintain a safe and productive learning environment for all students, adhering to school rules and disciplinary systems.
  3. Pedagogical Strategies: Utilize effective teaching styles to cater to different aptitudes, learning styles, and interests of students.
  1. Maintaining Discipline and Order: Enforce school discipline according to established rules and guidelines.
  2. Enhancing Student Participation: Promote maximum student engagement and assist students in developing better study habits.
  3. Student Well-being: Monitor basic hygiene and health matters seriously and diligently for each child.
  1. Creativity and Organization: Create an engaging learning environment through functional displays, bulletin boards, and interest centers.
  2. Communication and Feedback: Foster positive relationships with parents and provide regular feedback.
  3. Record Keeping and Confidentiality: Compile, maintain, and ensure confidentiality of school records.
  4. Adherence to Policies: Comply with all policies in force or introduced over time and actively implement them.
  5. Additional Responsibilities: Perform any similar work as requested by the coordinator and conduct quarterly stock checks of teaching aids.
  6. Professional Development: Participate in internal and external courses, seminars, conferences, and events.
  7. Meetings and Collaboration: Attend all meetings convened by the principal and coordinators, liaise with resource persons, and collaborate with others.
  8. Interface and Communication: Interface with the Principal for academic-related issues, Co-teachers and other staff members as required, and Admin, Finance, HR, Technology for operational issues.
