Job Title: Visual Communications Specialist

We are seeking a skilled GIS Analyst to join our team

Job Description:

Spatial insights and decision-making processes drive business success. As a GIS Analyst, you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality maps and visualizations to communicate spatial information effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and maintain GIS databases, applications, and geospatial products.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret geographic data from various sources (satellite imagery, aerial photographs, maps, etc.).
  • Create maps and visualizations to effectively communicate spatial insights.
  • Conduct spatial analyses, including clustering, proximity analysis, and overlay analysis.
  • Collaborate with urban planners, engineers, and data scientists to integrate GIS technology into workflows.
  • Provide technical support and training for GIS software and tools.
  • Evaluate the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of GIS data and systems.

Requirements:

To succeed as a GIS Analyst, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Geography, Computer Science, Geoinformatics, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, or equivalent).
  • Experience in Basemap Digitization Projects, geospatial analysis, data management, and cartography.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
