Launch Excellence Leader

The launch excellence leader will oversee the timely execution of multiple product launches, ensuring successful delivery from concept to market. This role involves owning project timelines, cost targets, and quality metrics throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management:
    • Lead launch projects for multiple products
    • Own project timelines, cost targets, and quality metrics
    • Establish clear program governance, stage-gate reviews, and risk management frameworks
  • Cross-Functional Leadership:
    • Collaborate with R&D, design, sourcing, manufacturing, quality, service, and marketing teams
    • Align cross-functional stakeholders to deliver on product specifications, regulatory standards, and customer requirements
    • Drive supplier and vendor engagement during development and ramp-up
  • Product Development & Validation:
    • Ensure Design For Manufacturability (DFM) and Design For Excellence (DFX) principles are integrated early in the design stage
    • Oversee prototyping, pilot builds, and validation testing
    • Lead issue tracking and resolution during Engineering Validation Testing (EVT), Design Verification Testing (DVT), and Production Validation Testing (PVT) phases
  • Operational Readiness:
    • Establish production readiness with manufacturing teams
    • Drive cost optimization through value engineering and supplier development
    • Ensure smooth handover to operations post-launch
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Develop and refine launch processes, tools, and best practices
    • Track post-launch performance and drive iterative improvements

Requirements:

  • Strong program management skills with ability to handle multiple concurrent projects
  • Deep understanding of product development, preferably in home appliances / consumer electronics
  • Knowledge of plastic parts, filtration technologies, electronics integration, pumps/valves, and assembly processes
  • Hands-on experience in DFMA, validation testing, regulatory certifications
  • Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
