We are seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to contribute to the development of our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and its companion Handy Terminal device. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain key components that support the efficient flow of supply chain operations.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of professional experience with Python, with a focus on versions 3.10 and above. Strong understanding of SQL database principles, particularly with PostgreSQL, is also essential. Additionally, proficiency in testing and building automation tools, including pytest, GitHub Actions, and Docker, is required.

In this role, you will collaborate effectively with cross-functional development teams to integrate solutions and align best practices. You will also enhance code quality and ensure comprehensive test coverage through continuous improvement.

The team's mission is to build and maintain a robust, tested, and high-performance backend architecture, including databases and APIs, shared across all deployments. While the role emphasizes strong software development and engineering practices, we also value open communication and a collaborative team spirit.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Have 3-5 years of professional experience with Python, with a focus on versions 3.10 and above.
  • Have practical experience working with web frameworks such as FastAPI or Django.
  • Have a strong understanding of SQL database principles, particularly with PostgreSQL.
  • Be proficient in testing and building automation tools, including pytest, GitHub Actions, and Docker.

Bonus points will be awarded for experience with NoSQL databases, asynchronous programming, or message bus systems, as well as ability to clearly articulate technology choices and rationale.
