About this Role:

  • We're seeking an experienced software development professional with 5+ years of experience in building scalable and efficient systems.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java, Spring, and RESTful APIs, as well as a strong understanding of PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and Maven.
  • They will be proficient in implementing unit tests and ensuring maximum code coverage, and knowledgeable about code versioning using Git.
  • A solid understanding of performance testing and optimization for space, memory, and speed is also required.
  • Additionally, the candidate should have a good grasp of object-oriented programming, including various design and architectural patterns, concurrency patterns in Java, and fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
  • Basic knowledge of the class loading mechanism in Java and creating database schemas that represent and support business processes is necessary.

About Your Responsibilities:

  • You will design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient backend systems using Java and Spring.
  • Develop high-quality code, following best practices and ensuring maximum code coverage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, developing solutions that meet business needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, applying new technologies and techniques to improve system performance and efficiency.
  • Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful onboarding and skill development.
