Job Title: Hydraulic Design Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine water requirement calculations for irrigation projects and pipeline distribution networks.
  • Prepare zone and chak planning, along with area allocation for water user associations.
  • Develop a pipeline layout plan for water supply schemes and gravity-fed irrigation projects.
  • Use Water GEMS software to create hydraulic designs for pressurized and gravity-fed irrigation projects.
  • Produce detailed L-sections of pipeline designs using AutoCAD and E survey software.
  • Conduct investigations, surveys, engineering calculations, and prepare working drawings and estimates for irrigation projects.
  • Calculate the item-wise bill of quantities for each project.
  • Estimate quantities and prepare bar bending schedules from project drawings.
  • Obtain necessary design approvals from government departments and external vetting institutions.
  • Travel to sites and government departments to present and secure approval.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong background in pipeline hydraulics and Water GEMS software.
  • Design experience for water supply pipeline projects or irrigation projects.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
