About Our Organization

We are a sophisticated multi-tenant SAAS HR Tech product built on complex microservices architecture. We're looking for a resource with experience working on sophisticated SAAS platforms or microservices products, preferably with global teams.

Our clients are large enterprise Fortune 500/Global 2000 companies who require complex engineering design to meet their expectations.

Role Overview

We're seeking highly talented Senior Software Developers with Laravel or YII framework experience to lead the evolution of our application into a modern, scalable and AI first SaaS platform.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement services using Laravel/YII and related technologies ensuring each service is modular, independent and follows best practices.
  • Create well-defined APIs for communication between microservices and integrate third-party services as needed.
  • Optimize the platform for scalability, high availability and performance by implementing caching, load balancing and other techniques.
  • Design and implement relevant multi-tenancy features allowing multiple customers to use the platform securely and efficiently.
  • Ensure data security, privacy and compliance with industry standards such as GDPR.
  • Maintain high-quality codebase by following coding standards, reviewing code and mentoring junior developers.
  • Create technical documentation for architecture, APIs and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams, product managers and DevOps engineers to achieve project goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 6-10 years of hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel or YII framework.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing services architecture.
  • Previous work on transitioning monolithic applications to SaaS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL and other communication protocols.
  • Proficiency in database design including multi-tenancy considerations.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Able to start contributing immediately by understanding our current platform and developing new features.
