Senior Project Management Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project management methodologies to guide delivery managers and leads.
  • Oversee project progress and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication, track key performance indicators, and escalate critical issues as needed.
  • Establish best practices proactively to enhance project outcomes.

Project Execution Framework Design and Oversight:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand program goals, deliverables, and objectives.
  • Design and implement effective project management processes to ensure successful execution.
  • Evaluate program performance against key metrics and objectives.

Resource Allocation and Planning:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, timelines, and resource allocation plans in collaboration with program stakeholders.
  • Ensure optimal allocation of resources through close collaboration with business operations, project, and leadership teams.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, tasks, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate project meetings to ensure clear communication among team members, stakeholders, and sponsors.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and address any deviations from the plan in a timely manner.
  • Manage project finances, expenses, and resource allocations to meet financial targets.
  • Ensure IT systems are updated for project management and related areas.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and assess potential risks associated with program/project execution.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and monitor their effectiveness throughout the program lifecycle.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with internal and external partners to align program/project activities with defined goals.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
  • Solicit feedback from stakeholders and incorporate lessons learned into future program planning.
