Job Role: Manufacturing Systems Architect

  • As a senior architect, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, and customization of advanced manufacturing systems.

  • You will lead the implementation of industry-leading solutions to drive operational efficiency, innovation, and compliance in our global manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and secure architecture for manufacturing execution systems (MES), automation systems, and quality management platforms.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, integration blueprints, and system roadmaps to ensure seamless collaboration between cross-functional teams.

  • Lead the integration of manufacturing systems with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP PLM, to synchronize materials, BOMs, and work orders.

  • Collaborate with R&D, QA/QC, IT, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and compliance in manufacturing processes.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and support teams to drive excellence in manufacturing systems engineering.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter (MES, APS, Quality Management, RD&L).

  • Proven experience integrating Opcenter with Teamcenter and SAP PLM (or other PLM systems).

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, LIMS, CALVIN, PLM, and ERP (SAP).

  • Expertise in integration technologies: web services, APIs, middleware (e.g., ESB, SOAP/REST, XML).

  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and data mapping/transformation processes.

  • Knowledge of cloud and on-premises deployment strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Opcenter RD&L, LIMS, and CALVIN for lab workflow management.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
