The ideal candidate will lead the manufacturing operations, driving end-to-end efficiency and quality across production, assembly, fabrication, paint shop, and machine shop.

They must ensure timely execution of manufacturing plans, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. This includes establishing and enforcing SOPs, process sheets, routings, and control plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive production planning, material procurement, and inventory management to meet business objectives.
  • Develop monthly and weekly production schedules based on sales forecasts and available resources.
  • Monitor production progress, identifying bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions.
  • Lead quality assurance processes, audits, and implementation of corrective actions to ensure products meet company and statutory standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive continuous improvement and reduction of non-conformances.
  • Implement lean manufacturing initiatives and other CI strategies to reduce waste and improve throughput.
  • Develop and implement performance metrics across all functions, conducting regular operational reviews.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop department managers and team leaders to foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
  • Ensure effective utilization of ERP systems across departments, promoting data-driven decision making and digital tools for improved operational visibility.
  • Adhere to factory safety norms and EHS compliance, promoting a culture of safety awareness and preventive practices.
  • Identify internal talent for succession planning and career progression opportunities.
