Job Responsibilities:

  • We prepare and review complex tax returns for financial services and real estate partnerships.
  • We detail review simple and moderate returns for partnership, corporation, and S-Corporation federal and state jurisdictions.
  • We guarantee payments – Concept and applications on tax returns.
  • We address potential adjustments due to tax law changes and reflect them on workpapers and returns.
  • We assist staff in addressing tax issues with proposed solutions.
  • We have experience with international returns and their review capabilities.
  • We train and mentor new joiners on tax concepts and technology.
  • We share detailed review feedback with staff and resolutions to tackle those.
  • We manage kickoff calls independently or with little support from Supervisors or Managers.
  • We connect with US counterparts and track assigned budgets for each task.
  • We eFile validation and diagnostics of returns.
  • We identify and review potential book-to-tax adjustments.
  • We dive into depreciation and gain/loss.
  • We analyze financial statements and seek relevant details.
  • We advance level tax technical knowledge on state tax returns, applications, nexus, and filing requirements.
  • We have a clear understanding of partners' tax capital accounts.
  • We perform self-review of complex work before moving tasks for review.
  • We document open items and share updates with reviewers and vice versa to complete tax returns within set deadlines.
  • We work on multiple projects simultaneously and correspond with aligned reviewers on status.
  • We have hands-on experience with tools and applications.
  • We enhance tax technical skills by working on secondary and cross-skills sets and drive this with staff to help them grow.
