Job Title: SAP Data Archival Consultant

Job Overview:

  • Server Administration: Ensure fileserver security, configure access permissions, manage folder structures and audit compliance.
  • Divestment: Extract archived data, transfer it to new owners, create documentation on maintenance activities.
  • Software Management: Install and update Enterprise Scan and WinViewer applications, troubleshoot software issues.
  • SAP Data Archiving: Activate, deactivate archive infrastructure, run archiving tasks for new objects.
  • Reporting responsibility: Update work items, create documentation on incident resolution.
  • Data Management: Assess and resolve incidents, collaborate with technical teams.
  • SAP ILM Retention Management: Test archive functionalities.
  • SAP ILM Warehouse Management: Test archive functionalities.
  • Replication Server migration/upgrade: Migrate data, perform technical testing.

Work Environment:

  • The team follows Agile practices.
  • Work is managed by the Product Owner and Scrum Masters using long planning iterations and sprints.
  • Work progress and performance metrics are extracted from ADO directly.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver incident and problem management solutions.
  • Ensure SLA adherence during PI periods.
  • Deliver SAP Maintenance activities according to Upgrade Schedule.
  • Provide high-quality documentation.
  • Complete assigned ADO User Stories.
