We are seeking a highly skilled Software Packaging Specialist

This role involves designing and developing software packaging solutions for desktop and server platforms, as well as converting legacy applications and utilities using various tools such as Numecent, MSIX, PSApp Deploy, Ansible, and containerization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans prior to software deployment.
  • Maintain documentation of all customizations and changes made during the packaging process.
  • Work on basic to complex applications and contribute to the design of modern packaging solutions.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in software packaging, application development, and deployment within a physical and virtual environment.
  • Strong technical skills and hands-on expertise in .NET, .BAT, .VBS, WSE, .MSI, .MST, .MSP, SQL Server, APPV, MSIX, Numecent, and similar scripting and database tools.
  • Experience with automation scripts, orchestration, and automation processes and products.
  • In-depth experience of Microsoft Operating Systems (desktop and server).
  • Windows troubleshooting skills and ability to communicate escalations when needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Developed scripts in PowerShell, Ansible, DSC, Python, or YAML.
  • Familiarity with tools or automate scripts/processes.
  • Experience with idempotent to configuration manager, policy, and deployment.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
