Iyuno, a global entertainment technology and localization company, is seeking a highly skilled freelancer to join our team. With 67 offices across 34 countries, we provide end-to-end global media services that enhance global storytelling through expert fluency, seamless experiences, and connected networks.
As a Freelance English to Urdu Subtitle Translation and Content Localization Specialist, you will be responsible for creating localized subtitles in Urdu for video contents in English and performing quality control on these subtitles. This role requires attention to detail, accuracy in translation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited time constraints.
We are looking for candidates with a native or native-like level of proficiency in English and Urdu, as well as a good command of both colloquial and written English and Urdu. Previous experience in translation or proofreading is preferred, but not necessary. If you have a positive attitude, a can-do spirit, and a willingness to learn new things, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median salary for translators in the United States is around $54,210 per year. However, salaries can vary greatly depending on location, industry, and experience.
