Senior Printed Circuit Board Designer

We are seeking an experienced Senior PCB Design Engineer to lead our team in creating cutting-edge Drone solutions.

Job Overview:

This is a senior-level position responsible for designing, validating, and manufacturing complex printed circuit boards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design multilayer PCB layouts up to 6-12 layers in mixed signal design.
  • Experience with high-speed mixed signals, HDI boards.
  • Expertise in handling BGAs with blind and buried via techniques.
  • Familiarity with latest interfaces like USB, Ethernet, CAN, etc.
  • Knowledge of differential routing, length matching routing, impedance routing, etc.
  • Understanding of constraints and use of the constraint manager.
  • Proficiency in minimizing EMI/EMC problems.
  • Experience in DFM & DFA analysis, Gerber & ODB++ checking.
  • Compliance with IPC standards.
  • Schematic designing expertise.
  • Experience in schematic symbols and PCB footprint approvals.
  • Schematic design entry skills in Allegro tool.
  • PCB layout review experience for internal and customer projects.
  • Development of PCB vendors and coordination for manufacturing-related issues.
  • Board bring-up, debugging, and testing experience.
  • Familiarity with UART, I2C, LCD, SPI, QSPI, CSI2, CAN communication.
  • BOM approval and release experience.
  • Component selection skills for schematic designs.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and participating in design/code reviews.

Required Skills:

● Proven track record of 10+ successful production level PCBs in the market.

● Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

  • Third-party vendor interaction and review of work.
  • Good knowledge of industrial PCB design tools and flow.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD workflows.

● 10+ years of experience.

● B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics and Communication.
