Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software applications by performing manual testing, developing test cases, and reporting defects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform manual testing to identify defects, verify functionality, and ensure quality standards are met.
  2. Develop, document, and execute test cases based on product requirements and user stories.
  3. Report, track, and manage defects using defect management tools.
  4. Perform regression testing to ensure that new features or changes do not impact existing functionality.
  5. Work closely with development teams to understand requirements, provide feedback, and verify fixes.
  6. Maintain detailed and accurate test records, including test plans, test cases, and test results.
  7. Provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, and issues to the project manager.
  8. Suggest process improvements and help enhance the overall QA process.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience in manual testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with defect management tools, such as Jira or Bugzilla.
  • A strong understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies.
