Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing manual functional testing of web and mobile applications.

  • You will execute and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on requirements.
  • Validate bug fixes, track issues in the bug tracking system, and ensure they are resolved.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains stable.
  • Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure that defects are reported clearly, including steps to reproduce and an impact analysis.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies to align testing with delivery timelines.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Defect Detection Rate: At least 95% of critical issues identified before release.
  • Defect Leakage: No more than 5% of high-severity issues reported post-release.
  • Test Coverage: At least 90% of functional requirements validated per sprint.
  • Bug Closure Rate: At least 90% of reported bugs resolved within committed sprint.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in manual QA testing for SaaS or enterprise platforms.
  • A strong understanding of functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or similar.
  • The ability to write clear and structured test cases.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience testing AMS, LMS, e-commerce, or membership platforms.
  • Familiarity with Postman or other API testing tools (basic validation).
  • Exposure to WordPress, React/Next.js-based platforms.
  • An understanding of accessibility and performance testing basics.
