Trading and Portfolio Management Intern

Role Overview

This internship offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in analyzing, designing, and managing portfolios across global markets. As a Trading & Portfolio Management Intern, you will work closely with senior traders and strategists to develop skills in market research, risk management, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Monitor and analyze global market trends in real-time.
  2. Study macroeconomic drivers, central bank policies, and liquidity cycles.
  3. Assist in designing, testing, and reviewing trading strategies and portfolios.
  4. Support in portfolio allocation and risk-adjusted performance tracking.
  5. Prepare trading reports, backtesting models, and risk management dashboards.
  6. Collaborate with mentors to draft market outlooks and sector insights.
  7. Assist in constructing model portfolios and tracking performance metrics.

Requirements

  1. Students or graduates in Finance, Economics, Quantitative, or Commerce domains.
  2. Passionate about global markets, trading strategies, and portfolio management.
  3. Strong grasp of financial ratios, risk concepts, and macroeconomic trends.
  4. Familiarity with tools like TradingView, Investing.com, MT4/5, Excel, or equivalent.
  5. Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn dynamic trading strategies.
  6. Bonus: Prior experience in paper trading, crypto investing, equity research, or trading competitions.
