Cloud Architect Advisory Position

  • A Cloud Architect Advisory role involves planning and designing SAP landscapes for customers, as well as guiding them on their current and future SAP implementations. The selected candidate will have primary responsibility for advising customers on how to best leverage the SAP RISE platform, which offers a range of latest SAP technologies and options for selecting hyperscalers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • This position works closely with the SAP sales and account executive team to understand customer requirements and create customized landscape architectures. Team members are responsible for discussing these designs with customer leaders and technical teams, answering technical queries, and presenting assessments.
  • As an architect, this role is customer-facing and requires participation in meetings, discussions, and presentations. It does not involve hands-on work.
  • Additionally, this role provides opportunities for career growth and learning new technologies, including access to internal training and learning materials.
  • Team members will engage with multiple customers across various industries, gaining knowledge about different SAP landscape setups, delivery processes, and challenges.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze Bill Of Material (BOM) to validate the selection of obsolete products.
  • Provide feedback to the sales team on BOM to confirm the availability of selected products and versions.
  • Perform technical validation of customer landscapes to ensure product version build viability.
  • Analyze early watch reports and technical data to validate hardware selection and sizing.
  • Work closely with the sales team on architecture, landscape, and to-be design.
  • Sizing the to-be landscape for migrations.
  • Customer deal support – pre-signature: prepare technical assessments, conduct technical assessments with customers, and perform workshops.
  • Customer deal support – post-signature: provide onboarding questionnaire support, answer customer questions, and provide key information during the sales cycle.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in a CAA role, with skills in SAP Basis, SAP HANA, S/4 HANA, migration/upgrades, and cloud platforms (AWS, MS Azure, GCP).
  • Good communication skills and the ability to articulate complex ideas.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles is essential.
