Accounts Payable Specialist Job

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable within the U.S. market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoicing and Payment Processing: Review, verify, and process vendor invoices in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring proper approvals and adherence to company policies.
  • Tax Compliance: Maintain accurate records for sales tax and 1099 reporting, ensuring compliance with U.S. tax laws.
  • Vendor Management: Communicate regularly with vendors to resolve payment inquiries, disputes, and other account-related issues.

Required Skills:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in an accounts payable or related finance role, with a strong understanding of U.S. accounting principles.
  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Microsoft Excel Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.).
  • QuickBooks Experience: Experience with accounting QuickBooks.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • GAAP Knowledge: Familiarity with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
