About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Leader and Software Architect to join our team as a Sr. Software Engineer.

This is a unique opportunity to lead by example, driving technical excellence and innovation in our backend development team.

You will be responsible for providing technical leadership, guiding architectural decisions, reviewing code, and ensuring best practices are followed.

As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will lead by example in writing high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code for backend systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical guidance and leadership to the backend development team.
  • Designing, implementing, and testing new features and improvements.
  • Mentoring junior and mid-level engineers, providing guidance on technical issues, best practices, and career development.
  • Collaborating with other team members, including frontend developers, product managers, and quality assurance engineers, to ensure seamless integration of backend systems with other components of the software.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 6 - 8 years of experience in software industry.
  • In-depth knowledge in OOP's.
  • Strong experience in Core, Web API, C#, PostgreSQL.
  • Hands on experience with building RESTful Web APIs, microservices.
  • Hands-on experience in AWS or Microsoft Azure (Redis Cache, Elasticsearch & Application Insights) preferably AWS.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Hands on experience with event driven architecture.
  • Experience with SCM platforms like GIT, TFS, CI/CD.
  • Experience in unit testing.
  • Experience working with JavaScript frameworks preferably Angular.
  • Deep understanding of software architecture principles and best practices along with trouble shooting skills.
  • Excellent understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications.
