Job Overview

As a Technical Architect, you will serve as a technical advisor and project leader to a medium-scope software development team within Asset Management at PepsiCo. Your primary responsibility will be to drive the growth of the Asset Management capabilities by developing strategic solution offerings. You will collaborate with peer leads to assemble best practices and core deliverables, providing technical thought leadership in data strategy, cloud data warehouse, data science, and data engineering. You will also foster relationships with business owners and stakeholders, guiding business development activities to grow new and existing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement technical solutions to complex problems, conducting cost-benefit analyses and recommending solutions to stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to technical standards and strategies in the Software Solutions HH4 and HHNEXT Asset Management areas.
  • Provide technical leadership to the team, resolving highly complex problems, and making decisions based on customer needs.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of TIBCO BW and Kafka integration experience, Microsoft Azure Platform, .Net language, and SQL Server Database.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, business intelligence, or relevant roles utilizing Azure Cloud.
  • 5+ years of experience in SQL Server, PL SQL, Store Procedures, RDBMS architecture, data modeling, database design, querying, performance tuning, and scaling relational databases.
  • 5+ years of experience with Middleware servers such as WebLogic/WebSphere technologies.
  • 5+ years of software development and web application design experience leveraging .Net, C Sharp, and all .Net framework and ETL concepts.

Technical Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information systems, computer science, business/technology, or similar degree.
  • In-depth knowledge of TIBCO BW and Kafka integration experience.
  • Experience in web design and development using Microsoft Technologies (.Net or higher) in Azure Cloud.
  • Experience with data modeling, database design, querying, performance tuning, SQL error handling, transactions, and optimization of complex SQL queries.

Non-Technical Skills

  • Strong communication skills, able to translate complex findings and results into a compelling narrative.
  • Presentation skills, making presentations customized to interests of audience.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and SCRUM processes.
  • Training and serving as a guiding force to less experienced architects in the Asset Management Software development team.
