Senior Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Operations Manager to oversee the review and delivery of financial statements and other accounting reports.
This is a key role in our organization, requiring strong leadership and technical skills. The successful candidate will have experience in operations within the financial services industry, with a proven track record of managing teams and delivering high-quality results.
The Senior Financial Operations Manager will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the review and delivery of financial statements and other accounting reports;
- Ensuring adherence to US GAAP and IFRS;
- Maintaining high service levels and ensuring accuracy and timeliness;
- Preparing and presenting performance and risk reports;
- Addressing and resolving technical and disclosure issues;
- Escalating issues at the right time and level.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Chartered Accountant or Master's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Finance;
- Minimum 7 years of experience in operations within the financial services industry, with at least 3 years managing teams of size more than 4 members;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to lead a medium-sized team;
- Solid relationship building and stakeholder management;
- Ability to analyse, resolve and document problems and resolutions;
- Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team;
- Strong organization and time management skills;
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
