Job Overview

NR Consulting - India seeks a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Specialist to join our team. This role requires expertise in cloud architecture, deployment, and migration, as well as proficiency in public cloud infrastructure services, containerized environments, and networking principles.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that involves translating application requirements into cloud architecture, deploying scalable and fault-tolerant architectures, and migrating on-premises workloads to cloud service providers. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of AWS services, Azure services, and GCP services, including Compute Instances, Storage, Backup, VNet, Subnets, NSG/ASG, IAM, SSL, Traffic Manager, Azure DNS, Load balancers, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Design and Deploy Cloud Architecture: Translate application requirements into cloud architecture and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant architectures.
  • Manage Public Cloud Infrastructure: Manage public cloud core infrastructure services, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Containerized Environment Experience: Experience with containerized environments, such as EKS, AKS, and GKE.
  • Networking Principles: Knowledge of networking principles and protocols, including IP subnetting, routing, firewall rules, Virtual Private Cloud, Load Balancer, Cloud DNS, and Cloud CDN.
  • Security Best Practices: Strong notions of security best practices, including IAM Policies & Roles, SSL, KMS, and more.
  • Configuration Management: Experience with configuration management tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet/Chef.
  • Unix/Linux, Windows Administration: Basic administration of Unix/Linux, Windows.
  • Service Now, Incident Management: Hands-on knowledge of Service Now, Incident Management, Change Management, and other ITIL processes.
  • Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and ability to communicate IT concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Problem Solving Skills: Practical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Requirements

  • Public Cloud Proficiency: Proficiency in one cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP) is required, and intermediate knowledge in other two platforms is desirable.
  • Cloud Provisioning: Provision and configure cloud resources in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Operating Systems: Extensive experience with at least one operating system (Linux, Ubuntu, Windows).
  • API and SDKs: Skills in API usage, command line interface, and SDKs for writing applications, and ability to code to implement essential security measures.
  • $120,000 - $150,000 per year: Depending on qualifications and experience, the salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $150,000 per year, based on industry standards and market conditions in the location.
