Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking ownership of quality-related requirements from customers and translating them into product or supplier requirements.
  • Maintaining project quality reporting and collaborating with the Project Manager to address emerging issues.
  • Supporting the planning and execution of Quality Gates, participating in their implementation, and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Creating acceptance test certificates 3.1 or 3.2 for chassis/frame/wheel sets.
  • Capturing and coordinating configuration/serialization requirements with customers, creating a configuration bill of materials.
  • Qualifying and informing employees on QM systems.
  • Developing project Q-plans, including test procedure plans (Prfablaufplan - PAP).
  • Managing internal and customer documentation creation, archiving, and transmission.
  • Planning and controlling internal Employee Management Plans (EMPs), participating in external EMPs.
  • Supporting corrective and preventive actions resulting from deviations, such as Q-reports and customer complaints.
  • Reviewing and approving project schedules from a quality perspective.
  • Serving as a point of contact for all project-related quality issues internally and externally.
  • Providing or commissioning Q-related training within the project as needed.
  • Following up and coordinating corrective/preventive actions regarding Q-deviations.
  • Participating in Continuous Improvement Programs (CIP) to enhance processes and products.
  • Implementing internal audits and assessments, including measures control.
  • Ensuring product safety by adhering to established processes and methods, and alerting the line if these do not meet legal requirements or recognized technological standards.
  • Continuously developing industry standards, such as Quality Gates.

Requirements:

You should have at least 5-8 years of experience along with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent/Quality Management.

Able to travel frequently.

Strong Communication Skills are required.
