Program Development LeaderRambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini (RMP) was established in 1982 as a unique leadership development institution. Its primary goal is to nurture, train and build the capacities of elected representatives, political and social workers, as well as individuals involved in institutions and start-ups in social and political organizations.The organization conducts research in various fields such as social, political, economic and agricultural arenas with an aim to take it to policy level. RMP has a special consultative status provided by the United Nations Economic and Social Council, making it one of the unique institutions in the entire Indian subcontinent.RMP's initiatives include Knowledge Excellence Centre (KEC), IIDL (Indian Institute of Democratic Leadership), Socio-Political Research, Publications & various programs. The organization is now looking for a professional who can lead these efforts and bring newer dimensions to the current activities.Job Description:We are seeking a proven leader with excellent communication and relationship building skills to manage our programs, supervise staff and oversee budgeting. The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in program management, including training needs analysis, designing and implementing training programs for socio-political groups.The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing goals, prioritizing projects, creating standards and monitoring quality and outcomes of the programs from initiation to execution. S/he will also work closely with all stakeholder departments to ensure effective collaboration.Required Skills and Qualifications:The preferred candidate should possess versatility in planning, publicity, report writing, program proposals, printing, book creation, documentation, etc. A graduate or postgraduate degree in sociology or political science is preferred but not mandatory.
  • At least 10 years of experience in training and program management for NGOs, government and semi-government bodies.
Benefits:The organization offers a salary commensurate with qualification and experience. Proficiency in Marathi, Hindi and English (written and spoken) is preferred. Computer literacy is a must, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel and PowerPoint is desirable.General Requirements:Independent correspondence, planning and execution, strong communication, public relations and computer knowledge are essential for this role.
