DevOps Engineering Manager

A senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of DevOps strategies across various teams.

About This Role:

This is a highly specialized position that requires strong technical expertise in cloud computing, containerization, and automation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving business value through innovative DevOps practices and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive DevOps roadmaps to drive business outcomes.
  • Leverage expertise in cloud platforms, such as Azure, to design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvements and develop targeted solutions.
  • Mentor and guide DevOps engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge in emerging technologies.
  • Establish and enforce security standards to protect against data breaches and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Drive incident response and post-incident activities to minimize downtime and optimize recovery efforts.
Required Skills:
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in a senior DevOps or engineering leadership role.
  • Expertise in cloud computing, including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong understanding of containerization, orchestration, and service mesh technologies.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools, such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging frameworks, including Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative project management tools.
