Job Title: Fundraising Director

About the Position:

We are seeking a highly experienced fundraising professional to lead our efforts in securing revenue for our philanthropic initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive annual fundraising plan, building relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring the effective management of funds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a strategic roadmap for fundraising with clear short-, medium-, and long-term objectives.
  • Develop a diverse portfolio approach to fundraising, targeting high net worth individuals, corporations, foundations, and other relevant entities.
  • Proactively execute multiple aspects of the plan, engaging with donors and partners to secure funding commitments.
  • Work closely with our leadership team to establish effective fund channelization and utilization processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in fundraising, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in business, social sciences, or related field, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in direct fundraising and partnership roles, including 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to work across boundaries and drive results.
  • Highly organized, with excellent project management and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and adapt to ambiguity.
  • Cultural awareness and ability to work effectively in an international environment with diverse stakeholders.
