Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

A highly skilled data engineer is required to lead the development and implementation of our information data lake and insights platforms. This role will enable decision support systems across the organization, partnering with business and customers to understand their data and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a robust data infrastructure using data lakes and insight platforms.
  • Bring data sets together to answer business questions and drive growth through data-driven decision making.
  • Collaborate with business customers and development teams to define requirements and deliver flexible, scalable solutions.
  • Work with new technologies to drive business intelligence solutions end-to-end, from business requirements to data modelling, ETL, metadata, reporting, and dashboarding.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in transforming data using Azure data factory.
  • Knowledge of Spark and Azure Databricks.
  • Ability to balance multiple conflicting requirements with high attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills.

We are looking for a skilled data engineer who can design, create, manage, and business use large datasets. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data modelling, SQL, ETL, data warehousing, and data lakes. Experience in writing SQL and Python scripts, building dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI, and working on Agile processes is also desired.
