Logistics Leadership Role

The SAP Logistics Lead is responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics processes within SAP, covering Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), WM, EWM, and their integration with other SAP modules. This involves collaborating with business stakeholders to understand logistics needs and translating them into SAP solutions.

This leadership role requires a strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and related business processes across industries. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in solution architecture within SAP, designing and implementing complex, integrated SAP landscapes.

SAP Solution Architecture:

  • Design scalable, robust SAP logistics solutions that ensure alignment with business requirements and long-term goals.
  • Architect SAP systems by integrating SD, MM, and other relevant modules to ensure seamless data flow and system performance.
  • Ensure alignment of solution designs with industry best practices and SAP standards.

Implementation & Project Management:

  • Lead SAP logistics implementations, ensuring successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams (IT, business users, third-party vendors).
  • Drive change management and training initiatives to ensure successful adoption of the solution.

Support & Continuous Improvement:

  • Provide ongoing support for SAP logistics systems, identifying and resolving system issues, bugs, and performance gaps.
  • Continuously optimize SAP logistics processes to improve efficiency, minimize costs, and support business growth.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues involving the integration of logistics processes with other SAP modules.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 8-10 years hands-on experience working with SAP Logistics modules, including SD and MM.
  • Extensive experience in solution architecture within SAP, designing and implementing complex, integrated SAP landscapes.
  • Strong understanding of integration between SAP modules (SD, MM, FICO, WM, PP) and external systems, including both data and process integration.
  • Experience managing full-life cycle SAP implementation projects from discovery to go-live, as well as supporting post-implementation activities.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP configuration, customization, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with ABAP is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
