Production Manager

This is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing the production process of Monolithics.

  • Oversee the timely production of Monolithics, ensuring adherence to dispatch and S&OP team requirements.
  • Develop production plans and provide raw material requirements to the PPC Team.
  • Conduct mass balance of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Ensure smooth operation and process control of equipment.
  • Coordinate with stores for consumable materials.
  • Conduct job-specific trainings including safety protocols.
  • Meet statutory and regulatory norms for factory inspections, stock taking audits, etc.
  • Maintain IMS standards in processes and documentations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement programs and Opex initiatives.
  • Involve in day-to-day activities of Crushing & Grinding circuit.
  • Knowledge about different KPIs related to production.
  • Interact with internal & external stakeholders.

SAP - PP module operation.

  • Make production orders for Monolithics.
  • Confirm production orders.
  • Monitor stock levels of Monolithics Line Finished Goods and raw materials.
  • Control costs (raw material, labor, power, depreciation, packing cost, etc.) and analyze product costs.
  • Allocate manpower in SAP through correct cost centers.
  • Allocate electrical power in SAP through correct cost centers.

Reports:

  • Daily production data reporting pertaining to Monolithics line.
  • Monthly files pertaining to Monolithics production, weighment report, etc.
  • Headcount reporting.
  • Monthly billing reconciliation of contractors.

Quality Related:

  • Follow QC instructions.
  • Visual checking of Product packing detail and analysis of batching report.
  • Coordination with Quality team for smooth online/offline testing of Product.

Projects:

  • Implement new projects as required.
  • Execute production trials and make reports.
  • Implement dashboards in shop floor.

Developmental jobs & OPEX:

  • Implement OPEX action plans.
  • Sustain 5S.
  • Initiate KAIZEN initiatives and report.
  • Quality circle activity for specific projects.

Statutory compliance jobs:

  • Compliance/documentation of IMS and ISO 50001 system.
  • EHS/5S audit compliance.

EHS activities and compliance of audit findings:

  • Monthly audits (Internal & External), conducting HIRA and other risk assessments.
  • Ensure all EHS guidelines and protocols are followed.

Profile/Competencies:

Education: B Tech- Ceramic Engineering.

  • Background: Preferably worked before in Refractory Production unit.
  • Essential/Mandatory:
  • B Tech (full time) in Ceramic Engineering.

Preferred:

  • Earlier work experience in the Refractory Industry in Monolithics Lines.
