We are seeking a skilled Video Editing Associate to transform raw footage into captivating educational videos. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent storytelling skills, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and finalize raw video footage into high-quality educational content.
  • Add engaging elements such as subtitles, transitions, graphics, and effects to improve viewer interaction.
  • Optimize YouTube videos for better retention and engagement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest YouTube trends, algorithms, and editing best practices.
  • Collaborate with educators, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure edits align with learning goals.
  • Handle diverse projects including promotional videos, webinars, ads, and course content.
  • Adapt to different editing styles as per project requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio (educational or YouTube work preferred).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent tools.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics & animation tools is an asset.
  • Strong creative sense for simplifying complex concepts.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and accept feedback positively.
  • Excellent attention to detail for accuracy and quality.
  • Good communication skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
