Job Opportunity:

Senior Test Engineer

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our testing strategy and execution for a project leveraging Databricks, Data Factory pipelines and Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the testing strategy and execution for data pipeline/ETL testing projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality testing services
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive testing plans and scripts
  • Identify and report on test automation opportunities and implement solutions as needed

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in data pipeline/ETL testing, with at least 2+ years as a Test Lead
  • Strong experience testing ETL workflows (Databricks, Data Factory workflows), SQL Data Warehouse, BI reports and dashboards
  • Hands-on experience with X-Ray for JIRA test management and BDD (Cucumber, SpecFlow, or similar frameworks)
  • Experience with GitHub/Bitbucket for version control and Jenkins for CI/CD automation
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms supporting Databricks, Data Factory and SQL
  • Hands-on experience with Robot Framework, Selenium
