Laundry Supervisor Role
">The Laundry Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laundry facilities. They are responsible for managing daily laundry operations, supervising staff, and maintaining equipment.
">- Manage inventory of uniforms and linens to ensure sufficient stock levels.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and report any issues to management.
- Train employees on laundry procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect linens and terry for damage or wear.
- Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating staff.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
- Support team goals and objectives.
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost savings.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Requirements
">- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 1 year of related work experience preferred.
- Supervisory experience an asset.
- No license or certification required.
