Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Hardware Systems Engineer to join our team at the Nexteer Automotive - India Technical Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in designing and developing electrical systems for the automotive industry.



Key Responsibilities and Authorities


  • Create and maintain electrical schematics and circuit diagrams based on core circuit blocks
  • Develop and implement circuit analysis and design documents to ensure accurate and reliable electrical systems
  • Conduct failure analysis and provide recommendations for corrective actions to ensure quality and reliability of electrical systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design integrity and accuracy of electrical systems
  • Develop and maintain circuit test plans and monitor testing activity to ensure quality and reliability of electrical systems


Desired Qualifications


  • Education: Master of Science or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on automotive systems
  • Skills:


    • Strong understanding of electrical and electronics systems
    • Experience with circuit design and analysis tools
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
    • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on electrical and electronics systems

  • Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) Design and Manufacturing Processes
  • Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Design, Materials and Manufacturing Processes
  • Circuit Design (Schematic)
  • Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) Layout design (eCAD)
  • Electronic Components (Resistors, Capacitors, Inductors, FETs, etc)


Qualification Required (Education – Experience – Skills)

Education: Master of Science or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field



Experience: 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on automotive systems
