Quality Assurance Automation Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation/Manual Engineer (Python + Selenium) to join our innovative team based at our new Global Service Centre.

  • Job Title: QA Engineer
  • Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week in Gurugram, Delhi - India
  • Contract Type: Permanent

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a globally recognised leader in hospitality technology, distribution, fintech, and direct bookings. Our client has over 20 years of success and is a pioneer in providing enterprise systems to Tour Operators, Travel Agents, and Destination Management Companies across five continents.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of mission-critical applications by designing, implementing, and maintaining robust automated test solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain automated tests for UI, API, integration, and performance testing.
  • Enhance and expand the existing test automation framework.
  • Analyse requirements and build comprehensive test scenarios.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.
  • Execute automated test scripts and analyse outcomes.
  • Continuously improve the automation strategy and processes.
  • Document test activities and log detailed defect reports.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Python, NUnit, and RestSharp.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and tools like Postman or Swagger.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Working knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality.
Agile & Project Management Competence:
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Active participation in Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews.
  • Collaborative approach in cross-functional teams including developers and product managers.
  • Understanding of backlog grooming, prioritisation, and Agile lifecycle test planning.
